LATEX CARE

We hope you love your items as much as we do!

We have a couple of tips to help you take care of your new latex.

If you do not own anything to shine with, such as Vivi-shine or Pjur, you can easily wash it in luke-warm water with a little bit of gentle, clear soap. This will take the talc off of your item and leave you with a lovely natural shine. We strongly recommend washing your item in this way, after every use.

When drying, you should gently wipe your garment with a soft cloth to remove any excess water and then hang this to dry, away from direct sunlight, metal and any heat sources. This will damage your latex. Make sure that you fully dry any metal items on your latex to prevent any possible discoloration.

Please take care when shining as the shiny surface can easily be scratched if polished too hard with a dry cloth, take care and make sure your cloth does not dry out when polishing.

Keep away from naked flames and fires as latex rubber will burn readily.

When you come to put your latex on, if you have long nails, we would advise that you wear some soft gloves, or get someone else to help you put your latex on. This is to ensure that you do not tear the latex. It is easier to put latex clothing on when the inside is lightly dusted with talc.

When storing your latex, make sure that you do not put dark coloured latex next to lighter coloured latex as this can cause staining. Store in a cool, dark place with a layer of talc on, away from any direct sun light, heat sources or metal.

IMPORTANT: Natural rubber latex is generally considered non hazardous, however it is made from natural latex and latex products may cause an allergic reaction. If you know that you are susceptible to an allergic reaction from latex products then you should avoid contact with natural latex rubber.
